Clean eggs off your stainless steel

Hate when eggs stick to your stainless steel?

This is the method easier4.me uses to clean up with the least amount of pain possible.

It works for eggs, sauces, and a wide variety of other things that get stuck in your stainless pots and pans.

Instructions:

  1. When you are done cooking, put some dish soap in the pan and fill with water.
Tip: If you have a ceramic glass cooktop, just put it back on the warm burner. You don’t even need to turn it back on.
  2. Put back on the burner on low for 5 minutes.
Tip: At least 5 minutes is good.  After it has heated you can turn off the heat and leave it until you are ready to finish cleaning, typically after you enjoy your eggs.
  3. Remove and dump the water.
  4. Scrape with a flat edge to remove debris from bottom of pan.
  5. Scrape with a corner to remove debris from edges of pan.
Tip: You don’t need to get 100% scraped off, just break it up well so there are no patches wider than the width of a pencil.
  6. Rinse
  7. Put a little soap on a non-scratch scouring pad.
  8. Scrub away any remaining debris.
  9. Rinse!

Griddler Cheeseburger

When it is 8⁰ F outside even we don’t want to use our grill.

The Griddler makes a good cheeseburger, but can be a pain to clean.

@easier4.me shows you how to clean it best.

.

Cleaning the Griddler:

  1. Mop up grease with paper towel
  2. Use moist paper towel to get off food while the Griddler is hot
  3. Wait for it to cool
  4. Use the included scraper to get more residue off. You need to dig in on both sides of each channel. Use it at an almost flat angle to clean the surface of the ridges
  5. Use the nylon scraper as a detail tool to get any difficult spots
  6. Grip it from behind and hold over the sink
  7. Use a brush with hot water and dish soap to finish the job and keep the bottom side dry

Cleaning a Beer Growler – Easy Way

Do you want to reuse your growlers? This at-home method has worked well for cleaning and storing growlers with no lingering odor or growth inside the bottles.

The first step is clean the growler immediately, or as soon as possible after consumption.  If you can’t clean it quickly, keep it refrigerated until you can. That way you won’t get any funky growth or dried residue that is a pain to remove.

  1. Heat oven to 225 F
  2. Boil a small pot of water
  3. Remove cap, if Grolsch style, pull off the bottle
  4. Put a couple drops of dawn dish soap in the growler and rinse with hot tap water and then cold so there are no suds remaining
  5. Pour a small amount of Star-San solution into the bottle and swirl around enough to have solution coat the inside of the bottle, pour excess out (or into the next bottle)
  6. Turn off heat on pot, put the cap in the boiling water for 2-5 min and remove
  7. Put the bottle in the oven for 10 min, remove and shake to disperse any remaining Star-San solution
  8. Put back in the oven and turn off
  9. Remove bottle after 20 min and allow to cool
  10. Put saran wrap over the bottle top and put the cap on, the bottle will remain perfect until next use

Star-San solution – 7.5 ml solution to 32oz water, a spray bottle works great
